After spending early adulthood bussing and serving tables in some of San Diego's most distinguished restaurants, I went on to obtain a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu and Bachelors of Business Administration with emphasis in International Restaurant & Catering Management at The University of South Australia.

I relocated to Las Vegas, working for The Ritz-Carlton, then international once again with Royal Caribbean Intl. Upon my return I was hired by Tao Group Las Vegas as the Assistant Director of Special Events, hosting events at Tao, LAVO and Marquee which birthed a new passion for special events and the limitless imagination of event design.

Returning to Southern California, I worked as a Beverage Director for Santa Anita Park and co-founded two restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. My community involvement provided a distinct opportunity to serve our community as Vice-Chair of LA County DPSS Community Action Board and brought me closer to the challenges faced by so many Americans living in poverty.
